Course Cost:$700.00+GST this will include your Certified Handler certficate if you dont use any agrichemcials that fall under HSWA classes 6.1a and 6.1b then you wil only need a Growsafe certificate and the cost of that is $550+GST

Pre-Requiste

• Fill out the Pre-course Checklist and Enrolment form and get them back to the office before the course date
• Bring your own PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) to the course
• Bring your mixing jugs to the course
• Supply photos and/or videos of you as the handler if you are using and applying any products that trigger Class 6.1A and B. If these cannot be provided then a site visit will be mandatory which will be an added cost.

Course Content:

• Course structured around NZS8409:2004 ‘Management of Agrichemicals’
• Comprehensive training manual supplied at the course
• Certified Handler content
• Understanding the need for safe use of Agrichemicals
• Health and Safety in the workplace
• Handling and mixing agrichemicals
• Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
• Dehydration
• Complex agrichemical self checklist
• Open book assessment
• Both Certificates valid for 5 years

Three day course followed by a one day site visit
 

Course Cost: $3950.00+GST

Prerequisites:

• Current GROWSAFE Endorsed Ground Crew Certificate
• First Aid Unit Standards - Units: 6401 & 6402 OR 26551 & 26552
• Proof of Private Pilots Licence (PPL) or Commercial Pilots Licence (CPL)
• Fill out the the enrolment form and get it back to the office before the course date

Course Content:

• An extensive training pack is supplied to you once you have registered for the course. This pack provides all the technical data that is required to complete the training course and assessments.
• Complex agrichemical self checklist - This is a system where you can check and identify where you feel you are at, in regards to agrichemical Application
• Self study assessment where you are required to complete the various sections in the course manual.
• A site visit to your place of work by the trainer
• Full understanding of the various Acts that relate to Agrichemical application
• Chemical Rating Certificate valid for 5 years 

Three day course followed by a one day site visit
 

Course Cost: $3950.00+GST

Bring your Drone along with you to the course

Half day course (Site Visit optional – additional fee)

This is a Half day Course

We do Certified Handler courses for USERs and RESELLERS

Cost: $450+GST per person

Prerequisites:

• You need to hold a Current GrowSafe Standard Certificate to be able to sit on a Certifed Handler course

This course is run one on one. The Trainer will visit you 2 – 3 times at your site.

Please note not everyone needs 179 credits

Your credits break down into 59 Maximum for compulsary and 108 maximum for your different strands

• First Aid Unit Standards - Units: 6401 & 6402 OR 26551 & 26552

• An extensive training pack is supplied to you once you have registered for the course. This pack provides all the technical date that is required to complete the training course and assessments.
• Course structured around NZS8409:2004 ‘Management of Agrichemicals’
• Complex agrichemical self checklist - This is a system where you can check and identify where you feel you are at, in regards to agrichemical Application
• Self study assessment where you are required to complete the various sections in relation to the strands that you have chosen to be trained in
• A number of site visits to your place of work from the trainer to train and assist you with this course
• Trainee must be able to produce evidence of 200 hours of spray application (copies of spray logs/spray diaries)
• Full understanding of the various Acts that relate to Agrichemical Application
• Property Spray Plans
• Both Certificates valid for 5 years

Once completed this will assist you if you wish to get your work place accredited

This course runs from 8.30 am to 4.00 pm approx

The cost for Growsafe Standard Certificate is $550.00 plus GST

PLEASE NOTE YOU CANNOT GET THE CERTIFIED HANDLER CERTIFICATE ON THE SAME DAY AS YOUR GROWSAFE CERTIFICATE
